Muse

Project done for my Illustration Vernissage, it was chosen as a finalist! I am very proud of this work, I wanted to try my hand at creating an emotion, a piece that is evocative and unexpected. The idea for it was this merging of visuals, identities, an exploration of the body and of dance, all coming together to create a blooming flower presented as a statue frozen in time. As an illustrator, we have to learn and practice many skills to realize our work, hence this illustration would also reflect this balance and application of skills funneled into one being.
